GROF MOTO 27 - Bohinj
Bohinj
The route from Hotel Grof takes you along scenic country roads through Tuhinj to Kamnik, one of the most charming medieval towns in Slovenia. It's a great spot for your first coffee break. Continue toward Kranj, passing through small villages and forested stretches. We recommend a stop at the viewpoint over the Kokra River canyon in the city center.
The scenic route leads past Bled (a short detour to the lake is well worth it if you have time), through Blejska Dobrava, and then up a picturesque hill road toward Bohinj. The road over Soriška Planina (a beautiful mountain pass with excellent views) brings you to Železniki, a historic ironworks town, and then to Škofja Loka, one of Slovenia’s most beautiful medieval old towns. Finally, return via Kranj and Kamnik, and drive through the Tuhinj Valley back to Hotel Grof, where you can enjoy a well-deserved dinner and relaxation.
