The tour begins in Hotel Grof, from where we head towards Žalec, known for its hop-growing tradition and the famous beer fountain. Continuing on to Celje, Slovenia’s third-largest city, we can take a short break to admire its historical charm before heading towards Šentjur. Here, the roads become more dynamic, with scenic curves leading us into the beautiful Kozjansko region.

We continue our ride through the scenic Kozje and Podsreda, with picturesque views of the Kozjansko Park, a paradise for nature lovers. The road then takes us to Bistrica ob Sotli, a charming village near the Croatian border.

A highlight of the journey is crossing into Kumrovec, famous as the birthplace of Yugoslav leader Josip Broz Tito. Here, you can visit the open-air museum and experience traditional Slovenian village life. Returning to Slovenia, we pass through Bizeljsko, known for its excellent wines and unique underground cellars called repnice, where you can stop for a wine tasting experience.

The route continues towards Sevnica, home to a medieval castle and a renowned wine region. From there, we proceed through Radeče, following the scenic roads that run parallel to the Sava River.

One of the tour’s highlights is the ascent to Podmeja, a favorite spot among motorcyclists due to its thrilling curves and spectacular views. After an adrenaline-filled descent, we continue towards Šentrupert, where the roads become more relaxed before we finally return to Hotel Grof.

  • Ensure you have proper motorcycle gear, as weather conditions can change unexpectedly.
  • The Kozjansko Park is ideal for a nature break, while Kumrovec and Bizeljsko are perfect for cultural and culinary experiences.
  • The Podmeja Pass offers an exciting ride with sharp curves, so ride with caution.
