MC07 - Logar Valley
This motorcycle tour takes you through the picturesque Upper Savinja Valley and the stunning alpine landscapes of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The route offers a variety of roads – from wide, peaceful sections to winding mountain passes, perfect for motorcyclists looking for a dynamic ride and unforgettable views.
The tour begins at Hotel Grof, from where we ride towards Braslovče and continue to Letuš. The route leads us through Mozirje and Nazarje, marking the entrance to the breathtaking Upper Savinja Valley. We continue towards Ljubno ob Savinji, known for its rafting tradition, and then proceed to Luče, where the landscape becomes more mountainous.
The next stop is Solčava, where one of the most beautiful routes in Slovenia begins – the ride through Logar Valley. This natural park offers breathtaking views of the towering peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, scenic waterfalls, and vast alpine meadows. After a short break in the valley, we return towards Solčava and Luče, followed by an ascent to Volovljek Pass, which takes us to the other side of the mountains.
The route then continues over Črnivec Pass, a popular spot for motorcyclists due to its winding roads and views of forested hills. We descend into Gornji Grad, home to a famous cathedral, before continuing towards Šmartno ob Dreti, another charming rural village. Finally, we ride over Lipa Pass, adding a final mountain touch to this beautiful tour before returning to our starting point at Hotel Grof.

Tour Tips:
- Logar Valley is perfect for a short break and nature appreciation – don't forget to visit Rinka Waterfall.
- Volovljek and Črnivec Passes have some sharp turns, so ride carefully.
- Check the weather forecast, as alpine weather can change rapidly.
