
MC11 - Sevnica and Litija

This tour takes you through central Slovenia, where you will enjoy picturesque landscapes, rural roads, and mountain sections. The route offers a variety of challenges, from wide roads to narrow, winding mountain paths, making it an ideal choice for motorcyclists seeking a dynamic ride and breathtaking views of Slovenia’s countryside.
The tour begins at Hotel Grof, from where we head towards Šentgotard, a village known for its characteristic rural architecture. We continue towards Zagorje pri Savi, where we can admire the scenic landscape along the Sava River. The road then leads us through Litija, a charming town where we can take a short break to explore its surroundings. From Litija, we ride towards Sevnica, famous for its historical heritage and its beautiful castle, which rises above the town. The route then winds through Podsreda, offering peaceful countryside roads, before reaching Planina pri Sevnici, where stunning hilltop views await.
Next, we continue through Radeče and Hrastnik, before arriving in Trbovlje, where we can take a moment to explore the town. The journey then takes us to Marija Reka, known for its church and scenic natural setting, before heading towards Prebold, where we once again enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Finally, we return to our starting point at Hotel Grof, concluding this wonderful motorcycle adventure through central Slovenia.

- The route combines main and regional roads with a varied terrain and several passes – keep a moderate speed and stay alert, especially between Planina pri Sevnici, Radeče, and Hrastnik.
- Roads between Podsreda and Planina pri Sevnici are narrow, with local traffic and potentially rough surfaces – ride carefully.
- Expect increased truck traffic on the Litija – Sevnica section and through the Zasavje region (Hrastnik – Trbovlje), so overtake safely and adjust your speed.
