DESTINATIONS IN THIS TOUR

Embark on a thrilling motorcycle journey that takes you through some of Slovenia’s most picturesque landscapes, experience the serene beauty of emerald-green river Soča and into the scenic corners of Italy and Austria. 

Starting at Hotel Grof, you'll ride through the charming towns of Domžale and Vrhnika, heading toward Logatec. The route then takes you through Ajdovščina and into the vibrant town of Nova Gorica, offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. 

The adventure continues into Tolmin, known for its lush valleys, and onward to Bovec, a true gem in the Julian Alps. As you ride through Cave del Predil and Tarvisio, you’ll cross into Italy, where the roads wind through the stunning mountains before heading back into Slovenia via Rateče. 

Jesenice and Radovljica await with their rich history, while Šenčur and Kamnik offer peaceful rural landscapes perfect for enjoying the open road. The final stretch through Šmartno v Tuhinju and Vransko brings you back to Hotel Grof, where you’ll reflect on an unforgettable ride through two beautiful countries.

 

Tour Tips:

  • Between Ajdovščina – Nova Gorica – Tolmin – Bovec, be cautious of strong wind gusts, especially in the Vipava Valley.
  • The climb over Predel Pass (Cave del Predil) is scenic but narrow, with sharp turns and changing road surfaces – be extra careful in tunnels and shaded areas.
  • The Italian and Austrian section (Cave del Predil – Tarvisio – Rateče) has stricter traffic rules and frequent police checks – respect speed limits and road signs.
