Tour Tips:

  • This route includes scenic mountain passes and narrow Alpine roads, especially the climb to Pavlič Pass (Pavličevo sedlo), where the road is narrow, with sharp turns and some rough sections – keep your speed moderate and stay alert.
  • Be cautious of potentially wet road surfaces on the descent into Austria, especially in shaded areas during morning hours.
  • In Austria (Železna Kapla – Freibach – Ferlach), expect lower speed limits and frequent police checks – strictly follow traffic regulations.
  • Before crossing Ljubelj Pass, check for traffic updates or possible roadworks, as it’s a main border connection.
