The tour starts at Hotel Grof, from where we ride through the Tuhinj Valley towards Kamnik, one of Slovenia's most beautiful medieval towns. We continue to Kranj, the largest city in the Gorenjska region, and then on to Radovljica, known for its well-preserved old town. The route takes us through Jesenice, an industrial town at the foot of the Karavanke mountains, before reaching the popular alpine destination of Kranjska Gora.
From here, we ride towards Rateče, the last Slovenian village before the Italian border, and continue to Tarvisio, where we can already feel the Italian alpine charm. One of the highlights of the tour is the ride along Lago del Predil, a picturesque lake surrounded by mountains. After a short break, we ascend to Predil Pass, the border crossing between Italy and Slovenia, which offers spectacular views.
Next, we climb towards Mangart, the highest paved road in Slovenia, rising above 2,000 meters and providing motorcyclists with one of the most stunning mountain panoramas. After descending, we pass through Log pod Mangartom and continue to Bovec, the adventure sports capital of the Soča Valley.
From Bovec, we ride towards Tolmin, with the route through the Soča Valley offering many scenic viewpoints and opportunities for a break. Then, we climb towards Cerkno, where the winding roads make for an exciting ride. We continue to Škofja Loka, one of Slovenia's most beautiful historic towns, before passing through Medvode and Domžale and heading towards Trojane, where we can enjoy the famous Trojane doughnuts.
