This diverse motorcycle tour takes you through the picturesque landscapes of central Slovenia and reaches as far as the Croatian coast in Senj. The route offers a mix of wide rural roads, winding mountain sections, and breathtaking panoramic views. This tour includes a combination of smooth rural roads, mountain passes, narrow and winding roads, and sections along the Croatian coast, where traffic can be heavier and the wind stronger. The ascents and descents in the interior of Slovenia, as well as crossing the border, require extra caution, especially on the winding sections of the route between Kočevje and Senj. Although most of the route is not technically very challenging, the length of the tour and the different types of roads demand a certain level of experience and good physical fitness for longer rides.

The tour begins at Hotel Grof, from where we ride towards Trojane, famous for its legendary doughnuts. We continue through Izlake and Vače, home to Slovenia’s geometric center (GEOSS). The route leads us through Spodnji Hotič to Litija, a charming town along the Sava River, before heading toward Bogenšperk, where the historic Bogenšperk Castle is located. Next, we ride through Šentvid pri Stični and Ivančna Gorica, enjoying scenic country roads. The journey continues with an ascent to Bloško jezero (Bloška Lake), a popular destination in the Notranjska region, before passing through Nova vas and reaching the Croatian border at Sopač. Once we cross into Croatia, we continue towards Senj, a coastal town famous for its medieval fortress Nehaj. Here, we can take a break and enjoy the stunning sea views. After this seaside stop, we head inland, passing through Josipdol, and later re-enter Slovenia at Sodevci.

The route then takes us through Kočevje, a town known for its vast forests and rich history. We then rejoin the main road towards Ivančna Gorica and continue to Ljubljana, where a short walk through the old town is a great option. The return journey takes us past Lukovica, before arriving back at Hotel Grof, concluding this fantastic motorcycle adventure.
