The journey through the Julian Alps offers stunning landscapes and challenging routes. One of the most thrilling rides for motorbikers is the Vršič Pass with steep ascents and panoramic views.
Bled, famous for its lake, island church and cliff-top castle, is a must-see. From there, ride to Lake Bohinj, Slovenia’s largest lake, where the road winds through Triglav National Park, offering breathtaking alpine views. From Bohinj, head to Pokljuka, a scenic plateau surrounded by forests and meadows. Nearby is Vintgar Gorge, where the Radovna River creates waterfalls and rapids. A hike to beautiful Savica Waterfall, falling from 78 meters, is also recommended. Kranjska Gora, known for its alpine charm and year-round activities, makes a perfect base for motorbikers exploring the Julian Alps.
