Jezersko and Tuhinj Valley

Located in the heart of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps, Jezersko offers enchanting alpine landscapes with towering peaks, clear lakes and lush meadows.

The main settlement, Zgornje Jezersko, features a unique settlement area with architectural influences from Koroška and Gorenjska. One of Slovenia's key transport routes runs through the area, passing through the Karavanke Mountains, Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Jezersko Peak and Bela Valley. A popular tourist spot in Jezersko is the beautiful heart-shaped Planšarsko Lake, offering magical views of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The picturesque Tuhinj Valley, known for its thermal springs and tranquility, offers a scenic drive to Velika Planina. Motorbikers can park at Rakove Ravne and hike or take the cable car to the plateau, which is home to one of Europe’s largest shepherds' settlements.
